Bryce Whittaker works with executive leadership, practice groups and offices to promote strategic initiatives and maintain APCO’s brand around the world. As a Senior Director of global digital strategy with the firm’s Corporate Marketing & Communication team, he is responsible for web, social and email marketing at APCO and it’s subsidiaries. He specializes in creating websites, social media content and community management, digital advertising, email marketing and video campaigns to achieve APCO’s core audiences and achieve business goals. He also works with clients to produce multimedia content on the ground in high stakes and rapid response environments. Campaigns and sites he has created have been recognized by numerous awards from trade organizations.
Prior to joining APCO, Bryce developed his digital chops at Virilion/Mindshare Interactive Campaigns where he helped clients in the energy and health sectors find innovative ways to influence national conversations and public policy. In his early career he helped develop software related to online fundraising and managed promotional product and employee awards and incentives programs. At Mindshare, his interest in video production was sparked and he participated with multiple award winning teams in the 48 Hour Film Project in Washington, D.C. and produced video content appearing on CNN.com and other outlets.
Bryce is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and speaks fluent German having lived in Germany for two years. He serves on the Salt Lake Community College Foundation Board’s finance committee and is a member and past chair of the college’s Alumni Leadership Council. He is president of the Putnam Place Investment Club and three-time finisher of the LoToJa, an avid skier and principal tuba player with the Wasatch Symphony. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Utah and an AS from Salt Lake Community College.
