Senior Director, International Advisory Council Programs

Brent Crane serves as senior director for APCO’s International Advisory Council (IAC), which is comprised of nearly 200 recognized global leaders across the public and private sector. Based in Washington, D.C., he is the coordinator and relationship manager for members of APCO’s IAC and its subgroups.

Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Crane served as director of programs at the International Management & Development Institute (IMDI) a Washington-based non-profit educational institute that brings together business and government leaders in a neutral forum to discuss key international economic and trade issues. As part of this work he organized numerous education forums in the United States and Europe involving congressmen, senators and the CEOs of the world’s largest companies.

Mr. Crane received his bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Iowa, and his master of arts degree in history from George Mason University, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society for history.
