Bethanie Kwok is a project consultant at APCO based Singapore, where she specializes in political analysis and government affairs in health care working with trade associations, medical devices and consumer health. Since joining APCO in January 2023, Bethanie has been instrumental in shaping the Asia-Pacific Health Newsletter, delivering valuable insights that enhance health communications across nine markets.

In her role, Bethanie develops targeted engagement strategies for industry partners, organizes high-level engagements with several government stakeholders and industry luminaries across Southeast Asia, underpinning her proficiency in offering valuable insights into the region’s evolving policy landscape for health care clients. Her expertise encompasses producing in-depth media and policy monitoring reports on medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining APCO, Bethanie was a research analyst intern at the EU-ASEAN Business Council, where she significantly contributed to geopolitical, health, and sustainability dialogues. She was pivotal in organizing the 10th ASEAN-EU Business Summit, which saw participation from over 250 attendees, including the President of the Philippines and the President of the European Council.

Bethanie holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Political Science with a Minor in Communications and New Media from the National University of Singapore. Her expertise in government relations, policy analysis and strategic communications reflects her passion for research and its impact on public affairs.
