Arianna Faraco specializes in international politics and EU affairs and is a member of the firm’s Global Solutions’ team. Her expertise on strategy, advocacy, and communication skills are important assets for APCO’s clients, particularly when navigating complex international scenarios. Arianna is a senior consultant based in APCO’s Rome office.

Prior to joining APCO, Arianna served seven years as a policy adviser for Independent Diplomat, a nonprofit diplomatic advisory group based in Brussels. In this role, she provided top-level strategic and diplomatic advice to a variety of clients, including governments, opposition movements and civil society actors involved in peace negotiations. While based in Brussels, Arianna conducted numerous field missions to the Middle East and Sahel regions to deliver her work and engage with stakeholders and clients.
Prior to Independent Diplomat, Arianna worked as liaison officer for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation during the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and as operations assistant for the Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations.
Arianna is a member of a number of women-led initiatives and networks such as WIIS Italy and the Women Informal Network (WIN) where she brings her expertise on the Women, Peace and Security Agenda (WPS) and particularly the role played by female negotiators across conflicts and crises.
Arianna is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian. She holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs.
