Anna Blyth, an associate director in APCO Worldwide’s Chicago office, is a communications specialist with a focus on health care issues.
Ms. Blyth provides media relations, strategic communication counsel and account management for a variety of clients, including corporations, nonprofit organizations, consumer brands and biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical companies. During her time at APCO, Ms. Blyth has helped clients navigate stakeholder and media relations around major announcements, helped raise awareness of programs through strategic partnerships and stakeholder development and helped develop clients’ thought leadership platforms.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Blyth was a consultant in the global health practice at MHP Communications in London, where she helped develop and implement global advocacy and communications strategies, as well as conduct media relations, monitoring and reporting.
Prior to her tenure at MHP Communications, Ms. Blyth conducted public affairs work in the healthcare practice at Burson Marsteller in Brussels and interned at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Health and Consumers.
Ms. Blyth earned a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry and environmental chemistry from the University of Edinburgh, as well as a Master’s of Science in demography and health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
