Ángel Alonso is a project consultant at APCO and is based in Brussels. He is part of the tech practice, specializing in cybersecurity and geopolitics.
Prior to joining APCO, Ángel worked as a Bluebook trainee at the Cabinet of the High Representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell, where he contributed to the communication efforts and the follow-up of the latest developments in EU foreign affairs. Mr. Alonso is passionate about international relations and communications, and had the opportunity to work as an intern for strategic communications at Business at OECD, and assisted the diplomatic efforts of the Spanish Representation to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, following the modernization of the Data Convention.
Mr. Alonso holds a master’s in international public management at Sciences Po Paris, with a specialization in diplomacy and European studies. He speaks Spanish, English and French fluently.
