Associate Consultant
Angel Alonso Ferrer is a policy advisor with expertise in the tech sector, particularly in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and copyright. As an Associate Consultant in APCO’s Brussels office, Angel has supported clients by organizing events, contributing to communications strategies, managing the secretariat of multi-stakeholder coalitions and helping coordinate advocacy and engagement efforts.

Prior to joining APCO, Ángel worked as a Bluebook trainee at the Cabinet of the High Representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell. In his role, he contributed to the Cabinet’s communication efforts and supported the monitoring of developments in EU foreign affairs. His responsibilities included coordinating responses to members of the European Parliament and supporting the organization of high-level events such as the Youth Dialogue with the High Representative.
Passionate about international relations and communications, he had the opportunity to work as an intern for strategic communications at Business at OECD, contributing to shape the communications strategy of the organization. He also supported the diplomatic efforts of the Spanish Representation to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, particularly in the context of the modernization of the Data Convention.
Ángel holds a master’s degree in International Public Management from Sciences Po Paris, with a specialization in Diplomacy and European studies. He can fluently speak Spanish, English and French.
