Ana Paula Figueroa Arredondo is a Consultant based in New York where she is a member of the Office of the Executive Chair. Ana Paula supports senior level officers as they coordinate and advance APCO’s projects in Latin America, particularly in Mexico. She brings a strong legal foundation and experience advising private-sector and public-sector clients on regulatory navigation, assessing political risk, building coalitions and developing strategic positioning in complex environments.
Prior to joining APCO, Ana Paula worked at Bufete Asali S.C., a firm specializing in civil and commercial litigation, constitutional amparo proceedings and international arbitration. She conducted legal research, drafted judicial submissions and supported representation before local and federal courts. She contributed to matters involving leading telecommunications companies in ICC and HKIAC arbitration proceedings, as well as major clients in the energy and renewable energy sectors. Ana Paula also served as a consultant at Wiljan Consulting, where she focused on government affairs strategy, coalition-building, policy research and economic diplomacy.
Ana Paula holds a degree in Law and International Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Her academic training strengthened her expertise in international law, governance and regulatory frameworks. She is fluent in Spanish and English and is recognized for her analytical rigor, structured legal writing and ability to translate complex regulatory developments into strategic business implications.
