Harper

Alexis Harper is an associate consultant at APCO and is based in the New York office. She specializes in design, advertising and public relations and is a member of the firm’s global marketing team. At APCO, Ms. Harper generates earned media, assists with thought leadership opportunities, develops graphic designs for marketing efforts and brings APCO’s brand story to life.

In the spring of 2022, Ms. Harper interned with APCO South on multiple client accounts in the health care and energy sectors. She assisted with daily monitoring, stakeholder engagement and client-based research. During the summer of 2021, Ms. Harper interned alongside APCO’s global marketing team based in the Washington, D.C., office. During her time with the marketing team, she collaborated on virtual newsletter distribution, assembled media monitoring documents and designed monthly Stay Ahead banners. Prior to joining APCO, she interned with public relations and marketing organizations to broaden her understanding of the industry.

For three years, Ms. Harper volunteered as the public relations and marketing coordinator with UNC-Chapel Hill’s chapter of Camp Kesem, a national organization supporting children through their parents’ cancer, and provided year-long services for the community of families.

Ms. Harper graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Hussman School of Journalism and Media with a focus in public relations and advertising. She also minored in Social and Economic Justice and obtained a Sports Communication certificate.
