An award-winning advisor and sought-after speaker, Alex is passionate about mentoring early-career professionals and fostering a positive, engaging workplace culture. She has served on the Board of Trustees for the Atlanta Girls’ School and is known for her collaborative leadership, innovative problem-solving and commitment to impactful storytelling. Alex sits on APCO’s Public Affairs team as a Senior Consultant in the Chicago office.
Alex’s expertise is grounded in a strong academic foundation, holding an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University’s Medill School and an BA in Sociology & Anthropology from Spelman College. She has furthered her global perspective with a certificate in Business, International Relations, and the Political Economy from the London School of Economics and additional credentials in media monitoring, hospitality and tourism management. Prior to joining APCO, she served as a marketing and social media consultant for Lawrence & Bundy, LLC.
