Edward Logan


Edward Logan is a consultant at APCO Worldwide and is based in Beijing. He engages primarily tech clients on government relations and the evolving policy landscape, bringing to bear his experience with industrial policy, US-China relations and quantitative approaches to policy analysis.

Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Logan was a global public policy researcher at ByteDance, responsible for advising the C-suite and government relations leads on global geopolitics and political risk. He was a senior analyst for a New York-based macro advisory firm advising government agency heads and multinational CEOs on macroeconomic and geopolitical trends. He was also a consultant on industrial robotics policy for Made in China 2025 at the World Bank. He began his career as an operations analyst at a startup in Boston.

Mr. Logan holds a bachelor’s in economics from Vassar College and a master’s in international economics and China studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He is fluent in English, Russian, French and Chinese.
