Edward Logan is a consultant at APCO and is based in Beijing. He engages primarily tech clients on government relations and the evolving policy landscape, bringing to bear his experience with industrial policy, US-China relations and quantitative approaches to policy analysis.

Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Logan was a global public policy researcher at ByteDance, responsible for advising the C-suite and government relations leads on global geopolitics and political risk. He was a senior analyst for a New York-based macro advisory firm advising government agency heads and multinational CEOs on macroeconomic and geopolitical trends. He was also a consultant on industrial robotics policy for Made in China 2025 at the World Bank. He began his career as an operations analyst at a startup in Boston.

Mr. Logan holds a bachelor’s in economics from Vassar College and a master’s in international economics and China studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He is fluent in English, Russian, French and Chinese.
