The University of Memphis wanted to grow its presence in Washington, D.C., and influence with the U.S. federal government alongside trusted advisors. APCO built a proactive federal engagement program combining bipartisan relationship building, executive and subject matter expert positioning, appropriations support and strategic advisory. Since then, the university has participated in meetings with Cabinet Secretaries, its experts have testified in important hearings, and its federally funded research portfolio continues to grow. Today, UofM is a trusted partner of the federal government.
