In Memoriam: Don Bonker

We honor and remember Former Congressman Don Bonker, who sadly passed away May 30, 2023.

As a member of Congress, he served his community for 14 years, representing Washington’s third Congressional district from 1975 until 1989. He was a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs,  specializing in human rights and international trade.

Congressman Bonker was a much-loved member of the APCO Worldwide team for nearly 30 years. He was the first senior member of government to join the firm and always gave his all to his clients; he was a true APCO fan over the years and never hesitated help whenever opportunities arose.

We salute Congressman Bonker’s legacy and extend our love, thoughts and deepest condolences to his wife Carolyn, his children and grandchildren during this difficult time.
