Chair of Corporate & Managing Director, New York

Pamela Passman is the global chair, Corporate Advisory, and managing director of APCO’s New York office. She has four decades of experience advising organizations on managing global geopolitical risk by working with key stakeholders and identifying issues critical to success. At APCO, Pamela leads and serves as an advisor to our largest global accounts on business-critical issues, helping each navigate the complex business environment. In particular, Pamela works with companies on the intersection of technology and policy and market regulation across multiple sectors.

Pamela was with the Microsoft Corporation for 15 years, where she was the corporate vice president and deputy general counsel, Global Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, and led Microsoft’s global government relations and public policy work, regulatory compliance and philanthropic and CSR programs. Pamela first joined Microsoft Asia and led the Law and Corporate Affairs organization in the region, based in Tokyo. She also founded The Center for Responsible Enterprise (CREATe.org) and served as the vice chair of the Ethisphere institute. Her legal career started in Washington, D.C. with Covington & Burling and Nagashima & Ohno in Tokyo, Japan.

Pamela is on the board of directors of Kinaxis Inc., the leading SAAS supply chain management company, and chairs its Nominations and Governance Committee. She Chairs the Board of Directors of Kids In Need of Defense (KIND), which provides pro bono legal services to unaccompanied children facing immigration authorities.

She is a graduate of Lafayette College, where she serves on the Board of Trustees, and the University of Virginia School of Law.
