Former Pfizer Government Relations Leader Named Senior Advisor To APCO’s Worldwide Health Care Practice

Washington, D.C. (September 20, 2011) – Bronwen Kaye, former senior director of government relations for Pfizer, will serve as a senior advisor to APCO Worldwide’s health care practice, Robert Schooling, chair of the practice, announced today.

Kaye brings more than 25 years of executive-level experience in government relations for the health care sector, having led numerous legislative advancements in immunization, biotechnology, medical research and other areas of medicine.

“APCO is pleased to welcome Bronwen to our expanding team of health care and health policy experts,” said Schooling. “Her impressive work in advocacy combined with her clinical knowledge, is a valuable addition to the deep bench of expertise we offer our clients. Her wise counsel and relationships with key stakeholders will also be important resources to the firm.”

Prior to her role at Pfizer, Kaye served as senior director of government relations for Wyeth (now part of Pfizer). She was also director of government relations for Lederle Laboratories, the pharmaceutical division of American Cyanamid.

“Joining APCO is an exciting step in my career,” said Kaye. “Having sat in the same seats of many of APCO’s clients, I’m excited to offer strategic counsel to help solve key challenges at an important and influential time for the health care industry.”
