Communication Expert, Business Developer Joins APCO as Director in Mumbai

Mumbai (April 21, 2011) - Tushar Panchal, an accomplished consultant with more than 15 years of experience in business communication and management, joins APCO Worldwide as a director of strategic communication and public affairs, Sukanti Ghosh, managing director of the company’s India offices, announced today.

Prior to joining APCO, Panchal served as chief executive officer of HANSA Public Relations in Mumbai, where he managed a network of seven offices and oversaw the company’s integration efforts following a successful merger into the R K SWAMY HANSA Group. Earlier in his career, he was vice president at Rediffusion Dentsu Young & Rubicam, where he expanded the company’s client roster, opened a new branch office and established a social media communication service. He was also formerly head of corporate strategy at Lexicon PR and Corporate Consultants, an affiliate of Fleishman-Hillard Inc., where his clients included Timex, Huawei Technologies and the Egypt Tourist Authority.
