Flora Monsaingeon-Lavuri


Flora Monsaingeon-Lavuri is a director in APCO Worldwide’s Paris office, with more than 10 years of experience working on global projects in communication, government relations and issues management. She helps clients develop positioning strategies and manage sensitive situations, including by providing broader context analysis and input both on strategy and implementation.

Ms. Monsaingeon-Lavuri has led significant projects in media and government outreach, building corporate campaigns and conducting advocacy. She is also experienced in sustainability consulting and providing counsel on work around key global issues, in particular linked to socio-economic development and climate change.  Ms. Monsaingeon-Lavuri has worked for leading brands in the technology, telecommunications, consumer goods and energy sectors, public private partnerships with key UN organisations (UNDP, UNHCR, UNEP etc), as well as foundations and non-governmental organisations.

 Prior to working in Paris, Ms. Monsaingeon-Lavuri was based in APCO Worldwide’s London office. She previously lived in Beijing for three years, where she worked for Burson-Marsteller. There, she assisted American and European clients in implementing communication campaigns and advised them on the Chinese political and regulatory contexts. She also worked for an international news show for global and business leaders on Shanghai's Dragon TV, one of China’s main channels, and completed an internship at the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in New York.    

Ms. Monsaingeon-Lavuri holds a master's degree in international relations from Columbia University and a master's degree from Sciences-Po Paris. She completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University in Montreal. She is bilingual in French and English, and has an intermediate knowledge of Italian and Chinese.
